Are All Dymo Labels Waterproof?

The majority of Dymo labels are made from a thermal paper material. As you know, paper does not hold up to exposure to water very well. So most Dymo labels will only be able to handle a small amount of water for a brief amount of time before they begin to deterioriate. 

In response to this we have been manufacturing waterproof Dymo compatible labels for years, made from a durable polypropylene material which is a "plastic" like material that not only withstands exposure to water, but also to many oils and solvents. Additionally, the adhesives on these polypropylene Dymo labels is extra durable and industrial grade, meaning it can stick to a wide variety of surfaces and is water resistant as well.
