What is the turnaround time for custom printed shrink sleeve labels?
Turnaround time will vary based on finishing process and quantity of sleeves ordered. Typically, we average 10 business days from proof approval for shrink sleeves on rolls. Our customer service and sales teams will be able to give you more exact timelines when they quote your order. We also have rush options available for a fee.
How do I get my art to work with my container without being distorted?
For standard 12 & 16oz cans, and 12oz sleek cans, we have shrink sleeve print templates available that highlight the areas of high distortion. For other shape containers, we will need to receive a container to evaluate the distortion areas. Once evaluated, our team will provide you with recommendations for how to pre-distort your artwork for the best results.
How durable are the custom printed shrink sleeve labels?
Very durable. The print is actually printed on the interior of the sleeve, using reverse printing. Since it is a clear material, the print is still perfectly visible. Due to being on the interior of the sleeve, sandwiched between the material and the container, it is extremely resistant to any strenuous environmental circumstances.
Do you have matte or spot finish capabilities?
Yes, we can matte varnish or spot varnish shrink sleeves. However, this will incur additional finishing & plate fees, and may cause a slightly longer turnaround time.
Can I get proofs before ordering?
Yes, you may receive a proof of your shrink sleeves before ordering. However, please note that due to the number of machines that the sleeves have to go through, the cost for a shrink sleeve proof is typically very similar to a minimum order cost.
