Zebra ZSB Series Review: Specs, Features, & Drawbacks

Zebra ZSB Series Thermal Label Printer Review

We’ve tested a lot of label printers, and the Zebra ZSB Series thermal label printer immediately stood out for one reason: it follows the same locked-in cartridge models we’ve seen before with the DYMO LabelWriter 550 Series. That means it’s not your typical open-roll label printer for small business. Instead, the ZSB relies on proprietary drop-in cartridges that look convenient on the surface but bring some big limitations for long-term users.

At first glance, this series has plenty going for it: a compact design, wireless setup, and a cloud-based label platform. But when you dig deeper, you realize Zebra has taken the same approach that left many DYMO users frustrated.

So how does the ZSB stack up, and who is it best for? Let’s take a closer look.
