I just put new labels in my LabelWriter and now I’m getting a printer error

While the Dymo printers are the most user-friendly printers on the market. Their Plug N Play printer doesn’t even require software installations! However, despite the ease with which these printers can be loaded and used, sometimes problems do occur.

What do you do if an error message occurs after you put new labels into your LabelWriter printer?

In many cases, problems will be solved by checking whether the spool is firmly against the label roll. There should be no space between the label roll and the spool. Check this before moving forward.

It could also be a software problem. Try unplugging the unit for a minute to see if the error clears. If this doesn’t work, try rebooting your computer, as your printer may be in need of an update.
